Kingsthorpe is always a common place to see many Birds of Prey, thus why the Kingsthorpe Winery named its drop, Wedgetail-Ridge Estate. Birds of prey seen on the 19th of June were:
Australian Hobby
Wedgetail Eagle - Pair
Black-Shouldered Kite
Nankeen Kestral
1 x Unknown Bird of Prey - too distant to identify.
