A large group of Australian Pelicans (abt 20) were seen flying above North-Eastern Meringandan on the 19th June 2011. I certainly have not seen these in the area for quite some time, and not every so many at once. Always a great sight to see these birds - looking a little out of place in the Australian Bush.
