Information Care Of the Toowoomba Bird Observer's Club.A Rare Sea-Bird, the Bulwer's Petrel has been found at Oakey on the Darling Downs, not far from Toowoomba.
This rare sea-bird was found exhausted at the Oakey Aviation Base a fortnight ago and was handed onto local expert Wildlife Carer, but sadly it died a day after it was found.
This is the SECOND sighting EVER of this bird in Australia, and is a first for Queensland!!
