I took these photos in the drought of January 2014 of some local horses trying to get a drink at their favourite waterhole which had almost dried up. I did enquire with the property owners about their water source and was told that there were water troughs on the property for the animals. The photos were only taken on my little camera but really show how tough it is for all animals during such periods of drought.
